Both, and more. JMR EZ Rentals serves anyone earning through the gig economy — Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart, Amazon Flex, Spark, and similar platforms. As long as you're behind the wheel and putting in the work, we're here to support that. No preference given to one platform over another.
No surprises here. You need a valid Florida or out-of-state driver's license (held for at least one year), a clean driving record with no DUIs or major violations in the past three years, and a refundable security deposit paid at pickup. That's it. No credit check. No employment verification. No proof of income required.
Not at all. We accept debit cards for your weekly payments and security deposit. We built this service knowing that many gig workers operate outside the traditional banking system. Cash may be accepted on a case-by-case basis — just ask when you apply.
Your weekly rate covers the vehicle, registration, and basic roadside support. We take care of scheduled maintenance — oil changes, tire rotations, that kind of thing. What's on you: fuel, tolls, traffic citations, and any damage from accidents. We keep the fine print short so there's no sticker shock later.
Yes. Every vehicle in our fleet is maintained to meet rideshare platform standards. You'll receive the registration and any documentation you need to complete your platform's vehicle inspection. If an app update changes requirements, contact us and we'll work through it together. We want you earning — a vehicle that doesn't pass inspection doesn't work for either of us.
First — take care of yourself and anyone involved. Then: call 911 if there's any injury or major damage, photograph everything at the scene, and notify us as soon as possible. We'll walk you through the next steps. Basic liability coverage is included with your rental to meet Florida state minimums. Physical damage to the vehicle falls under a renter damage policy — details are reviewed at signing so you know exactly where you stand before you drive off.
Us. We provide basic roadside support for the life of your rental. Flat tire, dead battery, lockout — text or call the number you'll have from day one. We won't leave you stranded on the shoulder. Response time depends on your location and the hour, but you'll always have a person to reach, not a voicemail.
Traffic citations and toll charges are the renter's responsibility. Central Florida has SunPass tolls on major routes, so if you're running the 408, 417, or 429 regularly, we strongly recommend getting your own SunPass transponder to avoid invoiced toll fees. Tickets must be handled by you directly; unpaid violations can affect your deposit return.
No. Rentals run week to week. As long as you're in good standing and the vehicle is available, you can keep renewing. When you're done — whether that's after one week or one year — you return the vehicle and get your deposit back. We don't penalize you for leaving when the time is right.
Gig work means miles, and we know it. Our rentals come with generous mileage included — ask about the specific allowance for your vehicle at the time of booking. We don't hit you with per-mile overage charges designed to nickel-and-dime drivers who are just doing their job.
Drive whenever the work is there. No hour restrictions, no day-of-week limits. The vehicle is yours for the week. The only restriction is geographic — the vehicle must stay within the continental U.S., and we ask that you don't take it out of state without notifying us first.
Most applicants hear back the same day. Once approved, pickup is scheduled at our Altamonte Springs location at a time that works for you. In many cases, you can go from application to keys in hand within 24 hours. If you have questions before applying, just text us — that's literally what the button is for.
